How do I arrange a pick up?
Pickup is currently only available for orders over $5000.00 CDN. Once your order has been confirmed, call into our sales office at 1-888-901-4745 x 1 and speak with one of our traders to schedule a pick up time. Payment must have been cleared before picking up your order.
Can I pay cash?
Yes, during the checkout process select Pick Up as your shipping option for orders over $5000.00 and pay by Check as your payment method. Once the order is complete, you have created a legally binding agreement and you must call into our sales office 1-888-901-4745 x 1 and provide a CC# to confirm your order. If you have picked up from us before, your CC# will not be required. Please Note: The Troy Ounce does not report any transaction unless it falls under FINTRAC which stipulates that any CASH purchase exceeding $10,000 must be logged as per Canadian law.
Can I pick up my purchase in person?

Do You Allow Walkins?
The Troy Ounce is currently an online bullion dealer and does not have a Store Front. Currently we do allow for pick-up of an order placed online or via the phone at our Pick-up location.
Is there a pick up fee?
Pick ups are available by appointment at our Grimsby store front location. There is no pick up fee unless packaging is requested.
Does The Troy Ounce share my information with anyone?
Are my purchases track by or reported to the Government?
The Troy Ounce adheres to the requirements set forth by FINTRAC which stipulate that any CASH purchase exceeding $10,000 must be logged and reported. . FINTRAC has been implemented to detect and deter money laundering.
Can I cancel my order after it has been placed.
No. Ensure you review your order before submitting as all orders are legally binding. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
Can I add to my previous order?
Yes, please call us to put thru the addition so that shipping charges can be adjusted accordingly
Where is The Troy Ounce located?
We are located in Grimsby, Ontario Canada. West of Toronto. Our mailing address is in Burlington, Ontario Canada. See full location details in the "Contact Us" section of the website.
Do I have to pay PST, GST or HST on your bullion products?
According to the Canada Revenue Agency`s definition of a precious metal which is gold of a purity equal or greater than 99.5% and Silver of a purity equal of greater than 99.9%, there are no taxes as they are deemed Financial instruments.

How do I know if my payment was received?
The Status of your order will be updated to display "Processing". The Troy Ounce will send an email notification when payment has been received and processed successfully.
How long do I have to make my payment?
Payments are to be made within 24 hours of an order.
How long does it take for my payment to clear?
Credit Card - 1 business day, Interac - 1 business day, Bank Wire - 2 business days, Mailed Cheque/Bank Draft - 15+ business days, Email Money Transfer - 3 business days
Are my shipments insured?
Yes. All orders are insured by The Troy Ounce until the package has been delivered and signed for. At that point, the responsibility falls on the buyer.
Do you ship to the US?
Yes, signature is required and certain destinations may not qualify.
What if my package does not arrive on the specified time?
If your package is not received on the delivery date specified in the FedEx or Xpresspost tracking system, please give us a call so that we can initiate a trace.
How soon will my order ship?
Orders will be shipped within 10 business days of payment clearing typically within 5 business days. There may be some exceptions and they will be noted on the product pages.
How does my package get shipped?
Shipping is via FedEx Ground and Canada Post Xpresspost within Canada. For USA destined packages shipping is via Xpresspost. All Packages are insured and require signature.
